Hannah’s is the first Pilates class I’ve tried and I love it already! The classes are small which allows Hannah to spend time ensuring members are in the correct position and not over exerting themselves . If I’ve struggled she suggests an alternative without me feeling inadequate, equally for other experienced members she differentiates so they are working too. I (and colleagues) have noticed a difference already and I’ve certainly noticed a difference in my cycling position.

I’ve now attended two of the 6.30 am Pilates classes in Westbourne having been hoping for an early morning class for some time. Having a class that finishes at 7.30 am is really helpful as it gives a good amount of time before a 9 am start so you can potentially go home, get showered and changed before work which is great. As a location Westbourne is pretty central for both Portsmouth and Chichester and it’s not far from the A27 for other areas. As a teacher Hannah is great. She gives very clear explanations of the exercises you are doing and the benefits of them and is very patient and encouraging. The classes are kept small so there is good scope for Hannah to keep an eye on your form during the exercises so you get the maximum benefit and minimising the risk of any injury.

I very much look forward to attending Hannah’s Pilates classes on a Thursday evening. I regularly cycle and found I was stiffening up but since I’ve attended these classes I’ve noticed a huge improvement. Hannah is a knowledgeable instructor, patient, thorough and as the classes are fairly small (under 8) it is a lovely atmosphere. Its enjoyable and fun and I would highly recommend these classes.

I have just come back from a weekend organised by Hannah and it surpassed all my expectations. I have recently dusted off my mountain bike and was looking forward to building up my confidence and discovering some local trails I could try and to meet like-minded people and this was great. Hannah spent the first day focusing on mountain bike skills followed by a Pilates class and the next we explored some amazing trails in Surrey Hills. The food was amazing too. Wouldn’t change anything. Anyone wanting to improve their mountain bike skills should come on one of these courses.
