QE Park beginners coaching

From: £65.00

Mountain biking is an exhilarating sport, but if you feel more like a passenger than a pilot when things speed up, getting some coaching to improve your fundamental techniques could really help! We’ll iron out any bad habits and create a solid platform for constant improvement.

Description

Essential beginners mountain bike course.

The coaching sessions take place at Queen Elizabeth Country Park or Swinley Forest in small groups with a maximum number of 8 riders. The emphasis is on learning in a fun and relaxed environment with plenty of encouragement, video feedback and an action plan to take home so you can continue to improve your mountain biking.

During 3 hours you will have a chance to put your new techniques to the test on singletrack trails and learn from your experienced coach.

The aim of the course is to give you the techniques required for smooth, confident riding & to be able to enjoy every trail feature regularly found on blue to red graded mountain bike trails.

Learn core cycling techniques like:

  • Bike setup check – we’ll make sure your bike is set up properly
  • Body position for smoother riding – understanding the physics behind riding modern mountain bikes well
  • Balance – how correct balance, posture and movement can rapidly improve your riding helping you ride consistently over anything you encounter
  • Cornering foundations – how to maintain traction, conserve your speed and hit the best lines in and out of turns

We use video feedback and offer 30 days support on all our coaching packages.
