Join us on a two day adventure in the Brecon Beacons, with over 200km of superb natural trails to ride, stunning views and nature, Wales is a beautiful playground ready to be explored on two wheels.

Our retreats combine excellent coaching with British Cycling qualified coaches who will help you master new techniques; improve your confidence and bike handling skills. After a busy day on the bike, relax and unwind with Pilates classes designed specifically to help strengthen your core cycling muscles and stretch those aching ones too!

Enjoy a delicious home cooked meal or a trip to the pub to chat over the antics of the day before getting a good nights sleep ready for day two.

Day two starts with a Pilates class and healthy breakfast, so you feel awake and energised for your big ride day. Our local qualified mountain bike guide will then take you on a journey around some of the best natural trails for mountain biking in South Wales expect wild countryside, open forests, steep climbs and wonderful descents, that leave you wanting more.

  • Two nights accommodation at the award winning Star Bunkhouse in the village of Bwlch. An ideal base to explore the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park on two wheels. A relaxing and comfortable stay in spacious bedrooms, cosy lounge and dining areas, a fully-equipped kitchen, an outside BBQ area, hot showers, drying room, free wi-fi, secure bike storage and off-road parking

To enjoy this weekend you will be at least an intermediate mountain biker who is looking to progress your riding, experience a new type of terrain and explore trails in remote areas. You will be confident with core mountain bike handling skills and proficient with operating your bike on different terrains and at trail centres on ‘Red’ graded routes. The variety of trails we will be riding on this weekend will include features such as roots, rollable drop-offs and loose rocks of varying sizes. You must have your own suitable mountain bike or be hiring one (hybrid and budget bikes are not suitable for this weekend schedule of riding). The rides do contain a number of moderately steep long climbs that will be technical in places. Your personal fitness should be at a level where you feel comfortable in the saddle for at least 3-5 hours per day at a social and comfortable pace. You must be over 16 years-old to participate on this trip.
