As a mountain biker I have competed at elite level in cross country races nationally. Endurance stage races internationally and 12 and 24 hour solo competitions. My background in racing, knowledge and personal understanding of what it takes to perform at your best and train for the highs and lows of competition is what drives me forward and inspires me to become a better coach. I use my experiences to help my clients reach their goals whatever they may be. I am a British Cycling Level 2 road and mountain bike coach who is passionate about motivating others to get outside and life healthier lives whilst having fun.
Women’s Mountain Bike Weekender.
Join me for a weekend of mountain bike coaching and adventure. On Saturday spend the morning learning and refining your mountain bike skills then after a wholesome healthy lunch, the adventure continues Sunday when we will join Maramalade MTB (Sean) on a guided ride around the South Downs most treasured trails.
Day two will start with a Pilates class to stretch and unwind, feedback from day 1 and a continuation of the coaching.
Enjoy another tasty lunch whilst watching the clouds roll by before heading home relaxed, refreshed and armed with new skills and riding buddies!

Hannah’s a brilliant and engaging coach. She ran a day for us recently delivering a great mix of mountain bike skills in the morning, and then skills on the trails in the afternoon. She made the sessions interesting, challenging and rewarding for all of our riders at whatever standard they were from beginner to experienced. A great strength Hannah has is to be able to engage with each rider individually and help them improve their riding, whilst at the same time running the whole group session. We’re looking forward to being coached by Hannah again in 2016.
My 8 year old twins completed 2 courses in 2014 with pedal2pedal and loved both of them. They learned useful skills, feel more confident on their bikes. Absolutely love riding the trails in the QE park. Thank you Hannah. They are looking forward to the Christmas dash.
Vinnie learnt to ride his bike with one to one sessions with Hannah, he was quite nervous about his bike but she has given him so much confidence and he came on extremely quickly she was very clear and he found the lessons fun and has since joined her group session which he absolutely loves! Definitely recommend!
We contacted Hannah from pedal 2 pedal after many hours of frustration for both us and our son, as he tried to master the art of riding his bike without stabilisers!
I first contacted Hannah on the telephone to determine if she felt she could help Jacob with his cycling. We easily agreed a mutually convenient time to meet at the QE country park.
On meeting Hannah, Jacob was immediately at ease and more than happy to follow her instruction. Safety was paramount as Hannah ensured that he knew how to stop the bike before he started. After only 15 mins of riding his bike without pedals, the pedals were put back on. I was somewhat dubious that Jacob had learnt the skills to ride confidently with pedals but he cycled off straight away and continued to practise riding fast, slow, downhill, uphill for the rest of the hour session.
Hannah was very calm but confident with Jacob and made the session fun. Jacob thoroughly enjoyed the session and is now keen to keep practising his cycling.
Overall the whole process from the first contact to completing the session was conducted in an easy and professional manner. I would recommend pedal to pedal to anyone whose child is struggling to ride their bike confidently without stabilisers.
My 6 year old daughter was struggling with setting off unassisted, and general bike control . After a 1 hour one-to-one session with Hannah, not only was she setting off on her own, but she was also braking safely and competently. I would recommend Hannah’s tuition to anyone with a similar situation to ours .
My son has been part of the academy for over a year and I have been really impressed both with his progress and the calm assured way in which Hannah works! He loves being coached by Hannah and he can’t wait for his weekly coaching session! Hannah has also coached my wife who is a complete novice, my wife came back really happy with her session and is now much more confident on the trails. I would highly recommend pedal2pedal for coaching!
You couldn’t ask for a more passionate mountain bike coach than Hannah. If you’re looking to get your kids riding confidently on two wheels – or after some technique improvements for yourself – P2P is a great place to start!
The Pedal 2 Pedal level one course was well organised and well taught, Henry had a fantastic time – his ability improved and his confidence grew. After the last session he came home and asked for a bigger bike which we got out of the garage and he is now using very happily.
Thank-you very much for your superb coaching throughout the Fundamentals Levels 1 and 2 courses. Fred has the XC racing bug already, so get these key skills honed at a young age has already seen huge improvements in his technique and race ability. Here’s to a great 2015 season!
Our son (8) and daughter (6) attended the level 1 fundamentals course in Autumn 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed it. When we asked if they were interested in attending a Christmas festive event organised by Hannah, they were very excited, and will also be taking part in the level 2 course in Spring 2015.Hannah’s coaching style was perfect, building solid foundation skills with a healthy dose of fun and encouragement!
Sue was really pleased she did the ride and realised she didn’t wobble anymore thanks to Hannah’s coaching.Sue has since joined 2 Breeze rides with the 2nd ride being 16 miles! Sue has booked places for another 2 Breeze rides. I suggested a Ride Social for her Husband. They both joined the ride.
A Husband of one lady left a comment on our facebook page: He said the sessions were brilliant and had never known his Wife so keen to get out on the roads. Although he did have to buy her a new bike!
One lady said the coaching has helped her regain her confidence and given her a new lease of life.
